BRANDON CHASEN IS A FEATURED SPEAKER AT SMART BUSINESS DEALMAKERS CONFERENCE

Chasen Companies’ CEO Joins Regional Leaders to Discuss Downtown Baltimore Investment

BALTIMORE, MD (June 15, 2022) — Chasen Companies ’ CEO and Founder, Brandon Chasen, was a featured speaker at the Smart Business Dealmakers Conference held on June 8, 2022. Joined by David Bramble, Managing Partner at MCB Real Estate, and Shelonda Stokes, President of the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore, the roundtable discussion was led by Mac Tisdale, Mid-Atlantic Regional President of First National Bank, and focused on Investing in Downtown Baltimore.

The Maryland state legislature approved significant expenditures for downtown Baltimore in 2022, following numerous commercial and economic development projects already underway. Brandon Chasen’s team is among those spearheading signature projects in the region, such as Baltimore’s first skyscraper, One Calvert Plaza. Chasen shared his perspective on the post-pandemic impact and what to expect for the future of the region and city.

"There is an enormous opportunity right in our own backyard,” said Chasen. “It's exciting to think about our runway in the next 5 to 10 years. Baltimore's accessibility alone is unparalleled - from train stations to BWI and the Port of Baltimore, and our proximity to DC and NYC. We need to focus on building our assets - especially downtown - to maintain our trajectory."

Looking ahead, Chasen will also be a featured speaker at the Baltimore State of the Market event, hosted by BiSnow and set for September 2022. Topics will include new projects and development pipelines in and around Inner Harbor, Port Covington, and more, as well as exploring Baltimore's hottest submarkets and new investment opportunities.
