Globe St. Real Estate Forum Selects Brandon Chasen For It's Fifty Under Forty Series
BALTIMORE, MD (October 7, 2020)— Chasen Companies’ Founder and CEO, Brandon Chasen, has been recognized as a GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum Fifty Under 40 for his achievements in building a boutique multifamily product that transforms communities while maintaining their historical heritage. The award recognizes professionals 40 years of age and younger who are making great strides in the commercial real estate industry and were selected based on professional accomplishments and contributions to their company’s overall success.
“I am proud to be recognized as the new generation of real estate leaders by GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum,” said Brandon Chasen. “This accomplishment speaks to the dedication and hard work of the entire Chasen Companies team. Our mission is to build liveable, beautiful, and affordable spaces that ultimately help to build a better Baltimore, and beyond. Together we’ve built 14 buildings and more than 300 units, and we are just getting started!”
Brandon’s real estate career began nearly a decade ago when he and his business partners opened a series of CrossFit gyms and flipped single-family homes in the Baltimore area. Looking for a more long term business investment, Brandon saw an opportunity in the multifamily side in Baltimore city—an abundance of foreclosure properties that could be transformed into 10-30 unit multifamily properties. Chasen and his team began identifying charming historic properties that were falling down on the inside and built the resources internally to turn them into boutique luxury apartments that offer the same amenity access as luxury high rises but more affordable rent. Their model resulted in exponential growth, landing Chasen Companies as the No. 1 ranking company on the Inc. 5000 Series: DC Metro list in 2020.
Globe St. Real Estate Forum collected nominations from thousands of candidates across the country and selected top young professionals in several fields. The accomplished young leaders are highlighted in the October 2020 Career print issue of Real Estate Forum, as well as recognized online at GlobeSt.com.
