Meet The Team

Bennett Bradley: Chief of Staff

"The Skipper"

What is your role, and what does a typical day at Chasen look like?

Every day at Chasen is different. As Chief of Staff, the bulk of my responsibility is to track the company’s operations and install streamlined communication channels between our departments and ownership teams. Our success is often dependent upon quick, educated decisions, so constant communication is vital.

What is a hobby of yours that you believe is beneficial in the workplace?

Golf. I have been an avid golfer my whole life, and have met many influential businessmen and women on the golf course. I met our CEO, Brandon Chasen, through a golf outing and now I have the pleasure of working for him. You never know what business ventures will come from your time on the golf course!

What Baltimore community is your favorite?

Federal Hill is such a young and vibrant part of the city with some great bars and restaurants.  Living in Federal Hill, the accessibility of walking to both O’s and Ravens games is incredible and provides an amazing gameday atmosphere.

App you can’t live without?

Spotify. I am constantly listening to music or podcasts anytime I am driving, in the office, or working out.

First job?

I was a commercial real estate broker with CBRE focusing on the leasing and sales of industrial assets in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. area. The role taught me to manage my time efficiently and the importance of learning quickly on the fly. I absorbed a tremendous amount of real estate industry information and the experience opened the door to a variety of career opportunities.

You have 30 minutes of free time - how do you spend it?

With any free time, I try to get to a driving range or putting green at Baltimore Country Club. Growing up across the street from the club, I enjoy the sport and I find it very relaxing to be practicing my golf game while listening to music.

Design, build or tear-down? What are your dream projects?

I enjoy the build process. While design and teardowns have their perks, I enjoy the process of restoring structures to their former glory with a modern twist. Baltimore is such a great city for this -- we’re updating buildings, bringing vibrancy to neighborhoods, all while preserving centuries of history.
