Meet The Team
Allie Mangione, Marketing Manager
What is your role, and what does a typical day at Chasen look like?
As the Marketing Manager, I assist with the promotion and positioning of the Chasen Companies brand. Campaigns, strategies, and ideas are always evolving so it keeps the engagement and excitement at an all-time high. I work with Erin on everything ranging from partnership opportunities, brand awareness, website/digital management, and social.
What is a hobby of yours that you believe is beneficial in the workplace?
Staying active is really important to me. I love workout classes (everything from HIIT, pilates, yoga, boxing), tennis, or just a long walk to unwind. My dad used to be a tennis coach in his younger years and both my parents played throughout my life. Naturally, it became one of my favorite things to do. In order to be successful in a fast-paced environment, I find it really important to make sure my mind is sharp and balanced.
What Baltimore community is your favorite?
I’d have to say Fells Point + Harbor Point. Fells Point is filled with incredible food, bars, history, and harbor walks. For me, nothing beats being on the water and the cobblestone streets. I love that Harbor Point is so close but offers a quieter feel with incredible views and plenty of space for outdoor activities.
App you can’t live without?
The most obvious answer: “Safari” because … Google at your fingertips!
The more fun answer: Spotify or the iPhone camera. Music makes everything more enjoyable, whether it is a workout, walk, or car ride. I also love capturing photos of scenery/travel or anything cool I happen to come across.
First job?
In high school, my first job was as a lifeguard at Dulaney Swim Club and I also worked at a restaurant called Jack’s Shack in northern Baltimore County which served all things BBQ. Both taught me some really valuable life lessons. My first corporate job out of college was as an Assistant Buyer for Century 21 in NYC.
You have 30 minutes of free time - how do you spend it?
If I have 30 minutes of free time I’d opt for a quick stroll outside or a Melissa Wood Health pilates session from her app.
Would you rather: Design or build?
Both really excite me, but if I had to choose, I would have to say design. I absolutely love seeing what people do in order to make a home/space their own and interior design is something I love personally. I am a big believer that little details make all the difference.
